Consuelo Sayago is the Senior Director of International Relations and Administration at BMI. Sayago first joined BMI in 1990 as a member of the International Administration Department. In 1992, she joined the Copyright Department at EMI Music Publishing, where she widened her knowledge of the music publishing business. She returned to BMI in 1995 and has since learned various aspects of the International market and collective rights management through her positions in Research and Analysis, Royalties, Administration and Relations. She currently oversees the International Documentation Department and the distributions to the international rights societies. She serves on various committees and is the key administrative contact between BMI and societies throughout the world. Sayago graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science in Music. |

Paul Spurgeon graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law (1975) and was admitted to the Ontario Bar (Law Society of Upper Canada) in 1977. Following his call to the bar, he served as a judges' law clerk to the Chief Judge of the County and District Courts of Ontario. Prior to joining SOCAN he was Legal Counsel to CAPAC, one of SOCAN's predecessors. As counsel to SOCAN, Paul's practice includes copyright law, communications law, corporate-commercial law and administrative law, appearing before the Copyright Board and the Federal Court of Canada and other public bodies including the CRTC and various Parliamentary committees. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, a member and Trustee of the Copyright Society of the U.S.A., the American Federation of Musicians (AFM), and the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers. Mr. Spurgeon was recently named a member of the Copyright Legislation Committee (Policy) of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). He is a graduate of the Western Executive Program of the Richard Ivey School of Business. In 1988, Paul was elected to serve as a member of the Legal and Legislative Committee of CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) and in May 2001, he was elected Chairman. He also represents SOCAN at various international forums. He has been a guest lecturer at Osgoode Hall Law School, the Faculties of Law at the Universities of Toronto, Western Ontario, Windsor and Queen's University Faculty of Music, Harris Institute for the Arts and Fanshawe, Connestoga and Mohawk Colleges. |

ALLISON DEMASis an attorney-at-law specialising in intellectual property law and is the Chief Executive Officer of the Copyright Music Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT). COTT is a non profit association of composers, songwriters and publishers of music and was the first copyright collecting society to be established in the Caribbean. Ms. Demas recently completed an LL.M in Intellectual Property, Commerce and Information Technology at Franklin Pierce Law Center (Pierce Law), New Hampshire, USA. Ms. Demas has represented a wide cross section of the copyright and entertainment industries including industry associations such as the Business Software Alliance She has written several articles and papers and made various presentations on intellectual property rights, copyright and entertainment industries in the Caribbean and has sat on various government appointed committees dealing with intellectual property rights in Trinidad and Tobago. |

Mr. Sanjay Tandon is also a good singer and sings in the voice of Mukesh. He has performed 430 shows till date. He has sang under the baton of Shankar Jaikishan, Naushad, O.P. Nayyar, Kalyanji Anandji and many others. He is at present the Director General of The Indian Performing Right Society Ltd. He joined the Society in 1990. Ever since he is very closely involved with the Copyright Movement in India & Abroad. He has represented the Country at 5 Copyright World Congresses of the CISAC and is also a very popular speaker at various Copyright Seminars & Symposiums. He has also represented the Country on 2 Regional Round Table Conferences on Copyright under the WIPO. He was also a recipient of a Fellowship from the WIPO. He is also a regular speaker on the subject of Copyright Law in various Universities of the Country and Police Training Centers. Recently he also was the part of the Entertainment Delegation led by Mrs. Shushma Swaraj, I & B Minister to the USA & Japan. Mr. Sanjay Tandon is a Member of Various Institutions & Committees.
