As part of their ongoing Restaurant and Bar (R&B) Campaign, COTT recently presented TriStar Restaurant and Bar with their R&B Award indicating that the venue was one which demonstrates compliance in paying their COTT license fee in a timely manner. TriStar, which is located at Crown Point International Airport, Tobago received their award from COTT Member, Eric Powder who later gave an entertaining performance which was in keeping with the festive season with his Soca-Parang entitled “Presidential Parang”.
Collecting the award on behalf of the management team was Mr. Rostant who indicated his delight over receiving it and expressed his heartfelt thank you to COTT while encouraging the organization to keep up their good work and diligence in ensuring that music composers and writers are paid their dues.
Patrons at the restaurant conveyed their satisfaction over the ceremony and some confessed that they were now more aware of the purpose of COTT and its operations. Part of the proceedings included the distribution of tokens to members of staff and benefactors associated with the restaurant.
