COTT's  campaign to honour compliant   restaurants  and bars of the month continued in June.  The June 2008 COTT R&B Award was presented to  the Bougainvilla Restaurant in Point Lisas .

Bougainvilla Restaurant is a popular Point Lisas restaurant & bar owned and operated for the last fifteen years by Mr and Mrs Umesh Persad. The Persad's son Saanjay Persad is now actively involved in the day to day operations of the restaurant with his mother Mintra Persad.

Heather Baldwin-Mc Dowell, Manager  Communications and Member Relations performed the role of master of ceremonies, with contributing comments from  David Bereaux, COTT's  Manager General Licensing, and Saanjaay Persad of Bougainvilla Restaurant.

Saanjaay Persad spoke very positively  about his relationship with COTT, his family's commitment to music and to being compliant with the COTT licensing process. He was "very pleased and honoured that COTT had chosen Bougainvilla Restaurant as its top liming spot for the month of June."
