The Copyright Music Organisation of Trinidad and Tobago (COTT) will be embarking on its second licensing campaign entitled the COTT R&B Award for the period August 2007 to July 2008. This second-phase award scheme follows the successful implementation of the COTT HOTT SPOTT for the period 2006 to 2007.

COTT looks forward to hosting members of the media at J. Malones Irish Pub, MovieTowne today, Thursday, August 23, from 7pm to 9:30pm. This promises to be a fun-filled, musical evening with Lord Relator and Lord Superior hosting the evening’s entertainment and interactive sessions, which include vintage calypso, as well as an extempo competition among media houses, with exciting prizes to be won.

The COTT R&B Award campaign aims to honour compliant licencees by identifying one restaurant and, or bar each month, chosen through COTT’s database. The first award will be given this month in Port-of Spain, the presentation of which is set in a Friday after-work hang out setting with a monthly radio rebroadcast.
